After a year-long battle with cancer, Charlotte Anne Kipp passed peacefully into the full healing and wholeness of heaven on March 23rd, 2021. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Erston S. and Sarah E. Cox.

Charlotte was born on January 25th, 1953, in Mesa, Arizona. She grew up in Denver, Colorado, and then moved with her family to Austin, Texas, in 1967. Not long after moving to Austin, she met Cary Kipp (Reagan '69) at the local grocery store. They began dating in high school and then married in 1972. She and Cary enjoyed 48 years of marriage with 2 children and 5 grandchildren

After graduating from Reagan High School in 1971, Charlotte began working at Bealls Department Store and then Southwestern Bell phone company. She earned an associates degree from Austin Business School and then opened a blueprinting company in Austin in 1976. Over the years, she worked with wonderful friends and clients, eventually sharing the same building as her husband's architectural firm.

Charlotte was known for her kindness and joy, and was full of life and love. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of Austin Stone Church. She loved her family, friends, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed running, eating breakfast at Jim's Diner, shopping and her morning routine, making friends everywhere she would go. She had a love for Starbucks coffee and knew almost every barista. Many people were blessed by her generosity as she supported causes, businesses, missionaries, ministries and more.

She is survived by her husband, Cary Kipp of Round Rock, Texas; her son Christopher Kipp and wife Casey Kipp of Richmond, Texas; her daughter Carol Smith and husband Chris Smith of Weatherford, Texas; her grandchildren William Kipp, Dawson Kipp, Finn Kipp, Evelyn Smith and Levi Smith; her sister Barbara Webb and husband Ronnie Webb of Duncanville, Texas; her sister Carol Garcia and husband Bob Garcia of Pueblo, Colorado; her nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Charlotte on Saturday, March 27th, at 2pm at Central Baptist Church, 301 N. Lake Creek Dr. Round Rock, TX 78681. The family will hold a private graveside gathering after the service.
